House Rules

We like to cover everything upfront so there are no surprises for you or us! If you book our place, it means you have read and agree to the following terms and conditions.

The booking guest is responsible for ensuring their group comply with the house rules during their stay. Our rules are based on common courtesy.

GENERAL RULES

NO schoolies, parties, events or gatherings.

NO third party bookings. The guest booking must be the guest staying.

NO SMOKING OR VAPING IN THE APARTMENT OR ON THE BALCONY - $500 fee applies.

Damage or breakages are to be reported to your host prior to departure.

RULES RELATING TO GUESTS

Only booked guests are permitted in the property. Undisclosed persons are not permitted. This is a security and insurance requirement.

Only booked guests may use the facilities. Extra visitors are not permitted. This is a security and insurance requirement and a building by-law.

Children are to be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. This is a building by-law.

RULES RELATING TO EXTRA CLEANING

We provide a self-contained home away from home type stay. Our place is our private apartment, it is not a serviced hotel stay. You are required to leave our place tidy and in good order. This is not only common courtesy but good manners.

You will be charged for extra cleaning if our carpet or upholstery requires professional cleaning or if any extra cleaning is required as a result of the property being left in a mess. The cleaning fee covers general turnover of the property only.

RULES RELATING TO CHECK-OUT

TOWER 1 - Check-out by 10am. Our cleaner will arrive and enter the apartment at 10am. Late check-outs are not available and hold up our cleaners.

TOWER 2 - Check-out by 11am. Our Cleaner will arrive and enter the apartment at 11am. Late check-outs are not available and hold up our cleaners.

All access fobs and keys issued at check-in must be returned to our kitchen bench prior to your departure.

Do all your apartments have fast wifi / internet?

Yes – each apartment has its own modem and network with log in details provided for guests. Streaming is typically seamless.

Is there parking for our vehicle?

Most of our apartments include one free secure car park onsite. Our Skyhomes include two free secure car parks. If you are bringing additional vehicles, there is paid overnight car parking available next door in the Oasis Shopping Centre for around $25 per night. Free street parking in Broadbeach is very limited.

How far is it to the beach?

Beautiful Kurrawa Beach is an easy 100-metre stroll from the apartment.

How far is it from Brisbane Airport to Broadbeach?

We recommend allowing at least two and a half hours from scheduled land time to reach us in Broadbeach. This provides time for minor flight delays, baggage collection, collecting a hire car and unpredictable traffic on the highway between the north side of Brisbane and Broadbeach. Allow extra time on Friday afternoons and during events or school/public holidays.

How far is it from Coolangatta airport to Broadbeach?

We recommend allowing up to one and a half hours from scheduled flight land time to reach us in Broadbeach. This provides time for minor flight delays, baggage collection, collecting a hire car and unpredictable traffic on the highway between Coolangatta and Broadbeach. Trust us when we say allow an hour and a half!

Are your apartments pet friendly?

No – our holiday apartments are not pet friendly.

Is smoking allowed in the apartment?

No – there is strictly no smoking or vaping ANYWHERE in the buildings including the apartment, balconies or common areas. You must exit the building onto the footpath before smoking or vaping.

After Hours Check-Ins

We don’t offer self check-in facilities. Our friendly host will meet you onsite for check-in. Our check-in service closes at 9pm.

Please make sure you are booking flights that allow ample time to have you arrive well prior to 9pm. If you are driving, please plan your trip with the 9pm check-in cut off in mind.

Do you offer room service?

No - there is no room service available.

Can I organise additional cleaning during our stay ?

You are booking a fully self-contained holiday apartment. There are no housekeeping services provided during your stay. Basic cleaning supplies and equipment are provided which will allow you to keep things tidy and you will have full access to the laundry in the apartment to wash linen and clothing if required during your stay.

Is self check-in available?

We don’t offer self check-in facilities. Our friendly host will meet you onsite at an arranged time.

Are parties allowed?

NO schoolies, parties, events or gatherings.

How do I get my keys?

Our friendly host will meet you onsite for check-in at an arranged time. The guest who booked must be present at check-in with valid government ID (driver licence or passport). Security fobs and keys will only be issued to the guest who booked.

What if you are running late for your check-in appointment?

Don’t stress! Just send us a message via the booking thread as soon as you can to let us know what’s happened and keep us up to date with an expected arrival time. We always do our best to be flexible and work to your schedule.

Are beach towels provided?

We provide beach towels which you are very welcome to use. Beach towels not returned on departure are charged at $40 each.

Are there any days where check-in / check-out is restricted?

  • No check-in/check-out on Christmas Day
  • No check-in/check-out New Years Day
  • No check-in/check-out on Easter Sunday

Can we check-in early?

We will always happily accommodate an early check-in if our place is available.

Can we check-out late?

Late check-outs are not available and hold up our cleaning team.

What is included in the starter pack?

Our starter pack is designed to help get you started on your holiday and may not last the entire trip. If you are with us for more than two nights, you may need to re-stock items at the local supermarket. Woolworths supermarket is located right next door for any additional supplies you require.

Bathrooms - two full rolls of toilet paper, liquid hand wash and a quality bar of soap in each bathroom. Sunscreen, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner are available in the master bathroom only.

Kitchen and Laundry - laundry detergent, dishwashing tablets, dishwashing liquid, dishcloth, rubbish bags. A supply of tea, coffee (instant and Nespresso), milk, sugar and a few other pantry basics are also provided.

What linen is provided?

We supply bath and bed linen for your stay based on the number of booked guests. Additional linen is available for hire. The details are covered in our guest book or simply ask your host at check-in for further information.
